And come the time that it was introduced, it was then competitor to the Jeep CJ 5 as well as the International Harvester Scout. Come the late 1970s, the Ford Bronco then came to be a competitor for the Chevrolet K5 Blazer as well as the Dodge Ramcharger. Come the 1980s, this vehicle was accompanied by a much smaller Ford Bronco II. However, this small sibling only stayed in the market for just a couple of years. As for its last generation, the world knew the Ford Bronco as a large vehicle that was based on the newer Ford F series.
Mari Holzer ford, January 13th , 2017. In North America, the Ford Motor Company has started checking and testing their vehicles for long-term corrosion and rust resistance. This is done in the hot and dry climate of Arizona. Aside from this feat, the company is also testing their vehicles for the mentioned resistance not only in hot climates but also for a cold one.

The fourth and fifth generations of Ford F-series pickups (1961-1972) are the other favorites in the line of classic Ford trucks, wherein the Ford Ranger became popular. Furthermore, the 1981 Ford F-150 is another vintage truck choice as it represents Ford pickups with the modern touch but with classy look.

Henny Meena ford, January 14th , 2017. Jeffrey Helms is the manager of the Materials and Development Release in the Ford Global Paint Engineering department. He says about corrosion, "There isn't much corrosion below freezing. Actually, the worst thing you can do your vehicle in the winter is to park it in your garage. When it warms up, the ice turns to water and carries road salt into various nooks and crannies where it starts to go to work on the vehicle's coating if it is not properly protected."
Marisol Mac ford, January 14th , 2017. It has been documented that the F-150 has been the best-selling pickup truck in the U.S. for the past 38 years since 1978. Like me, you may be intested in the history behind Fords popular pickup that many people aren't aware of. The earliest Ford pickup wasnt an F-series. Although Ford offered delivery-bodied cars sporadically since 1905 and one-ton trucks since 1917, its first factory-assembled pickup truck was built on April 15, 1925. The 33,795 produced 1925 model-T runabouts which had a pickup style body, sold for $281. The Ford F-Series was introduced in 1976 and became a huge success for the Ford Motor Company.
Doubravka Tamara ford, January 14th , 2017. The sight of an exorbitantly hefty price tag on a new Ford can be discouraging, especially if it's your first attempt to buy a car. Strangely enough, some people hold the sentiment that the first car purchase should ideally be a new one. However, more often than not, financial constraints may hold you back from doing so.
Doubravka Tamara ford, January 14th , 2017. First, what made Ford call these pickups F-150? The earliest use of the F-series name dates back to the 1948 Ford truck, with the half ton model named the F-1. Ford renamed that to F-100 in 1953, but the F-150 classification did not come about until 1976, why? This was a model that debuted to evade emissions requirements, as it was essentially a heavy half pickup rated at just over 6,000 pounds gross weight, which was the specification by the EPA at the time. This model required catalytic converters and subsequently unleaded gasoline. International Harvester also did this for 1975 in its final year of pickup production, making all half-ton 100 models 150s, to avoid installing catalytic converters. The final year of the F-100 was 1983, by which time leaded vs. unleaded was a moot point. The 100 or 150 indicated the nominal axle loading 100 = 1000 lbs, 1/2 ton, 150 = 1500 lbs 3/4 Ton. It had nothing to do with environmental requirements. It may be that the gross weight of the truck was increased in response to the 6000 lb marker, but the F-150s had been made for some time.
Corina Marisol ford, January 15th , 2017. Ford Focus was first produced in 1998. It's a first class automobile that offers enough space, a high degree of comfort, reliable brakes, long-lasting diesel engines. It has quite an extraordinary design that attracts the attention. The car is quite solid and you may thoroughly rely on it. The Focus model awoke Ford for a new life. The key to success turns out to be the good achievements in all disciplines. A good example is Ford Focus's behaviour on the road. It combines both security and comfort. The bumps on the road are easily absorbed without causing discomfort to the passengers. Moreover, the car is absolutely noiseless even when it is supplied with 205cm wide tires. The Focus doesn't have any problems neither with the turns, nor with the straight road. The car is spacious enough and the seats are designed to guarantee the passengers comfort so it is quite suitable for a long way. Only the boot is a bit narrow especially the boot of the hatchback model. The Ford have taken care of your security as well. The car is supplied with 4 airbags and an anti-lock braking system ( ABS). Driving Ford Focus is a real pleasure thanks to the permanent innovations and the company experience in the car industry. The Focus seems to be stuck to the road, it reacts immediately to the driver's actions and its behaviour is predictable no matter what the road conditions are. Its precise handling is supported by the high stability of the bodywork. Ford Focus became a car of the year in several countries and regained Ford's place among the world leaders in the World Rally Championship. The Focus has an amazing anti-corrosion protection that will prevent from rust appearing.
